A 17-year-old male died after an overnight shooting in the 2800 block of Love Creek, according to a Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department Facebook post.
Police are investigating the shooting that occurred about 11 p.m. Monday.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the young man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated and taken to St. Michael Health Center where he died, the post states.
Detectives are interviewing several witnesses and have identified a shooter, according to the post.
The motive of the shooting is being investigated and an arrest warrant is expected "without delay."
