Local artist Darlene Taylor works on a mural inside The Hideout, located at 311 E. Broad St., which will be a rooftop bar and club in the future. Taylor, who recently decided to pursue a career as an artist full time, will be working her last shift at Julie's Deli in the coming week. She said she is thankful for the opportunities that she has had through Julie's, but as her work becomes more well known, she felt it was time to commit to her passions. The Hideout will feature two large murals by Taylor in its completion.
