The number has remained unchanged for several days. TDCJ reported Thursday that 78 inmates are in medical isolation. Isolation is used to separate ill persons who have a communicable disease from those who are healthy.

TDCJ reports that 15 Telford employees are infected with COVID-19 and an additional 42 have recovered, for a total of 57 testing positive.

TDCJ reported Wednesday that 269 inmates at Telford are in medical restriction. Medical restriction is used to separate and restrict the movement of well persons who may have been exposed to a communicable disease to see if they become ill.
