Northeast Texas coronavirus case counts still rising

Four counties in Northeast Texas saw increases in their confirmed coronavirus case counts from Wednesday to Thursday.

Bowie County, Texas' count increased by one to reach 117, and Cass County's remained at 26, according to the local emergency Joint Operations Center.

Titus County added 47 cases, moving from 142 to 189, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Morris County added one for a total of 15, and Red River County's count rose from 40 to 42.

Southwest Arkansas case counts remained mostly unchanged, according to the Arkansas Department of Health. Sevier County's tally increased by one to reach 50, and Hempstead County added two cases to reach 12.

Miller County held at 42 cases, Howard County at 14, Lafayette County at nine, Pike County at four, Nevada County at four and Little River at one.

Caddo Parish in Northwest Louisiana saw an increase of 333 cases from Wednesday to Thursday, moving from 1,939 to 2,272, according to the Louisiana Department of Health. Bossier Parish's count rose by 19, from 353 to 374.

Statewide, Arkansas reported 5,458 total cases so far, with 110 deaths. Louisiana reported 36,504 cases with 2,506 deaths, and Texas reported TK cases with TK deaths.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's U.S. case count reached 1,551,095 with 93,061 deaths nationwide.
