Head of the Danish People’s Party Kristian Thulesen Dahl (right) and party colleague Peter Skaarup arrive Friday at Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg Castle in Copenhagen to inform Danish Queen Margrethe about who the party wants to lead the forthcoming negotiation to form a new Danish Government.

Daniel was a student at New Boston High, while Cox was a recent graduate.

Simms High School held a vigil Sunday night for Vaughn.

Monday night's vigil included words from New Boston Superintendent Brian Bobbitt and a local pastor, in addition to hymns from locals. The hymns performed included "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art."

Friends and family of Daniel and Cox sat to the right of the speakers and singers, as the crowd sat with lit candles in the bleachers and off to the side. After the speakers concluded their statements, the families released balloons.

Bobbitt conveyed a message of togetherness, as students and family members looked on.

"A lot of our students sitting over here to my right are hurt," he said. "We talk about teamwork, 'together we're better,' being all in and family. We say those things a lot. Now's the time to put those words to action, to make sure that you show these families that it's not just words. It's who we are."
