TEXARKANA, Texas - One Love Yoga has opened its new studio.

The new location is at 34o4 Richmond Road. It is not far from its original location but represents a rapid transition in the development of the business.

"During the shutdown in March, we were closed for three months," said Lauren Booker, co-owner of One Love Yoga, along with her husband, Jim. "We began hosting online classes for free. From that, we found ourselves with a good number of new students when we reopened. So this necessitated us seeking a bigger space."

So they did. Recently they opened the new studio and set up a whole new schedule of classes, with modifications for the current situation.

"We've taken extra precautions," Lauren said. "We clean after each class, ensuring the environment is safe and healthy. Right now, classes are limited to 10 students to comply with state guidelines and social distancing. Classes can be pre-booked using the MindBody app."

Lauren said this growth came quicker than they anticipated, but the new space is suiting them perfectly.

"We are blessed to have this expansion of students to help make this happen," she said. "We like the Richmond Road, community so we were content to stay in the area. This space is better, giving us the room we need - and we love our neighbors."

The new studio is quieter because it is farther away from the road, Jim said.

"We've also added a larger retail space."

In addition to having more classes, they now have two health coaches on staff.

"The idea is to offer a holistic, a whole approach to improving your health," Lauren said.
