Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank CEO and Executive Director Camille Wrinkle was recently named an Unsung Hero by Schlotszky's and Kicker 102.5 KKYR radio station, among other locals awarded for going above and beyond during the pandemic.

Nominated by individuals in the community, they recognized Camille and the Harvest team for continuing to provide food to hungry children, families and seniors at a time when it's been needed
most.

In addition to already-present mobile pantries provided in their
10-county radius, Harvest started handing out emergency food boxes to Texarkana-area residents through its drive-thru, large-scale mobile pantry events since the pandemic began.

According to a press release, Harvest has seen a 108% increase in food distribution since
March.

Wrinkle deferred credit to Harvest as a whole when asked about how honored she was to be named an Unsung Hero.

"I know my name was on the award, but I really feel like I was accepting it on behalf of
our entire team and the work that has been put in to make sure that hungry people are still getting the food they need, especially at a time when they need it most," she said. "I was surprised and
truly humbled by the recognition. I'm just really thrilled and grateful that the community recognizes the services the food bank provides."

Wrinkle said she and Harvest plan to
continue providing meals through their mobile pantries as long as they have the resources to
do so.
