TEXARKANA, Ark. - The fifth Downtown Texarkana Fall Food Festival takes place starting 11 a.m. today at the Front Street Plaza.
"We are going to have rows and rows of food trucks down here," said Tareka Grady, event organizer. "Not only that, but music, both from a DJ as well as live bands. And we will have a bounce house for the young and young at heart."
According to Grady, it will not be just hamburgers, hot dogs or nachos, either.
"We are going to have a huge range of food," she said. "Things as exotic as Vietnamese food, or Ugandan food. All kinds of things for foodies to try."
The event starts goes until 8 p.m. or until food is sold out.
