TEXARKANA, Arkansas - Texarkana, Arkansas, police have charged a woman with trafficking of persons, promoting prostitution and permitting the abuse of a minor involving a 17-year-old girl.

Amber Dawn Grundy, 39, is being held in the Miller County jail with bail set at $100,000.

Grundy, a relative of the alleged victim, was allegedly allowing the girl to post advertisements on skipthegames.com, a website known to be used by the sex industry, according to a probable cause affidavit. The girl allegedly learned of the site through "pimps" who exploited her while she was living in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Grundy allegedly brought the girl to Texarkana to get her away from the "pimps" in Fayetteville. Grundy and the girl were living in a Texarkana, Arkansas, motel on State Line Avenue when the girl would allegedly receive payment for four to seven "dates" with adult men each day.

Grundy allegedly left the room when a "date" would arrive and return after he left. The girl was allegedly giving Grundy some of the money she was paid and financed their living quarters through prostitution.

Court records show investigators recently acquired a search warrant for a social media page of Grundy's.

Grundy faces 10 to 40 years or life in prison if found guilty of human trafficking.
