The Texarkana Independent School District's Board of Trustees will hear reports from focus groups created to find the district's next superintendent at a 6 p.m. called meeting.
The TISD board is conducting a search to select a new Superintendent of Schools. David Thompson, an education law attorney; Mike Moses,former Commissioner of Education; and Alfred Ray, retired Texas superintendent, are assisting the Board in this search effort.
They will be conducting three focus group meetings throughout the day. The reporting of focus group feedback is the only item on the open forum portion of the meeting before adjourning to a closed session.
The board will then reconvene in open session to take any final action, decision or vote on a matter deliberated in closed session.
