HOOKS, Texas - A boil order for part of Hooks, Texas has been lifted.
The public water system here has taken actions to restore the quality of the water used for drinking and has provided the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality with samples that indicate the water no longer requires boiling, according to a news release from the City of Hooks.
