The Texarkana Independent School was notified this morning that a student on the Texas High School campus has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Tina Veal-Gooch, Chief Communications Officer, the student was notified of the positive case yesterday afternoon.
TISD Communications sent out notification letter to parents/guardians and staff this morning.
The end of the letter sent out states:
"While we do not have reason to believe those who were not in close contact with the infected individual have reason to be concerned, we ask that you as always, watch for symptoms of COVID-19."
