TEXARKANA, Texas - Dirt work is being done on Texas Boulevard on the Wacha Resolution Sports Training facility. Ground was broken for construction in mid-June.

According to the Wacha Resolution Sports Training Facebook page, Lucas Wacha is the owner and head trainer.

Wacha played high school football and baseball for Pleasant Grove from 2008-2012. He then went on to play division I football at the University of Wyoming from 2012-2016, before having brief stints with the National Football League, Canadian Football League and the upstart XFL league.

"The reason I got into this business is because I want to help young kids get better and learn how to work hard; to get adults to where they feel confident in their own body," Wacha said on a post from the page. "Wacha Resolution is here to help you reach your goals. It is for anyone, kids and adults. Everyone is welcome."

The work for this facility is being done across the street from Southern Athletics Baseball Academy.

The Gazette reached out to Wacha Resolution Sports Training for comment and received no immediate response.
