HOOKS, Texas - A Hooks, Texas, man was killed late Thursday in a vehicle accident with a Freightliner.
The victim was identified as Todd Pendley, according to a news release from the Hooks Police Department.
Police responded at 11:23 p.m. Thursday to the accident in the 500 block of East Avenue A, according to the news release. Pendley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Freightliner was identified as Dennis Garron of Winona, Minnesota. Garron and his passenger were not injured.
The accident remains under investigation but criminal charges are not expected to be filed.
