TEXARKANA - An 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms are expected across the region on Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
Some of the rain could produce heavy rainfall, according to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, Louisiana. Wednesday's high is expected to be about 50 and a low of 41.
Thursday through Saturday will see highs in the upper-40s and lows in the lower-30s.
Sunday morning the area could get its first wintry mix, with a 45% chance of rain and snow showers. Chances of any snow sticking are slight, however, as the high for Sunday will be in the mid- to upper-40s and later dipping into the lower-30s.
