Splash Pad opens for season today in Spring Lake Park

TEXARKANA, Texas - The Rotary Splash Pad opens for the season today in Spring Lake Park.

The Splash Pad, a collection of water streams and fountains where people can beat the summer heat, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

The Splash Pad may close without notice during the season because of maintenance, water restrictions, cool weather or special events.

No food, drinks, pets, running, climbing on equipment, bicycles, skateboards or skates are allowed in the Splash Pad.

Smoking is prohibited in or around the Splash Pad. Appropriate swimwear or street attire is required. Only rubber-soled shoes are allowed. Swim diapers are required for young children who are not potty trained.

Children age 12 and under require adult supervision at all times. People who are sick or have open sores should not enter the Splash Pad.
