NEW BOSTON, Texas - A man accused of sexual misconduct with four girls was indicted Thursday for seven felonies by a Bowie County grand jury.

Jorge Tomas Pina-Salazar, 42, faces the possibility of multiple life sentences if convicted. A grand jury indicted him for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 for alleged misconduct with a girl who is now 13.

For alleged crimes involving a second girl, now 16, Pina-Salazar was indicted for sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child by contact.

For alleged crimes involving a third girl, also 16, Pina-Salazar was indicted for a count of indecency with a child by contact. For alleged misconduct with a girl who recently turned 18, Pina-Salazar is facing charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

His bails total $600,000.

One of the alleged victims reportedly told a forensic interviewer at the Texarkana Children's Advocacy Center that she first recalls Pina touching her sexually when she was about 3. Another girl alleges that Pina was inappropriate with her at age 5.

One of the alleged victims allegedly described being in the room while Pina molested one of the other girls.

Pina-Salazar faces 25 to 99 or life if convicted of either of the two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and there is no parole possible from any sentence imposed for the offense.

If found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child, Pina-Salazar faces five to 99 years or life on each of two counts. The remaining three charges are each punishable by two to 20 years in prison.

Pina-Salazar is currently being held in the Bowie County jail. His case is assigned to 102nd District Judge Jeff Addison.
