The meeting is being held in Texarkana this weekend for the Central Frontier, or region, consisting of seven states.
The Buffalo Soldiers are a national group that helps educate the public on the history of the Buffalo Soldiers and gives back to their communities.
"We do a lot of community service, and we raise a lot of money," local chapter president and Central Frontier chairman Robert "Truper" Wilson said. "We are going to donate four scholarships tomorrow night to four local Arkansas High School students."
