TEXARKANA, Texas - The plaza at the corner of New Boston and Summerhill roads has a new store.
Moon Smoke and Gift features a wide range of novelty and recreational merchandise under one roof, a one-stop-shop experience for those looking for something different, something a bit out of the way.
"Folks come in looking for specific items," said Kourtney Teel, sales associate. "We hope to supply something that will give them happy memories."
Merchandise on the shelves of Moon Smoke and Gift includes vaping products, smoking accessories, purses, consumer audio and electronics, toys, remote-control cars, trucks and helicopters, novelty items and more.
"There's always new stuff coming in," Teel said
Curiosity has been a significant business driver.
So how's business been?
"Its been pretty good," Keel said, saying first time customers are coming back.
"They seem to know what they want, as vaping products, perfumes and cologne are our biggest sellers. It's all about giving the people what they want."
