TEXARKANA, Ark. - The School Board here will meet Tuesday evening to consider a number of topics including mask guidelines.
The meeting will open with TASD Honor roll presentations, along with consent agenda items.
According to Superintendent Dr. Becky Kesler's information items to the board, an Arch Ford contract amendment will also be discussed.
In an effort to follow guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the district announced in mid-August that students, teachers, staff and visitors would be required to wear masks/face coverings when indoors.
Following these topics, Business Manager Andrew Hill's reports will be given. The following will be addressed:
Finance report
Consider bids
Consider 2021 election resolution
Consider adult meal prices
Consider Verizon cellular service
Consider removal of fixed assets
Assistant Superintendent of Student Services Gwen Adams will report on learning/curriculum programs that will be considered by the trustees, before Director of Public relations Genia Bullock gives a report on moving assistance. A closed session will then be considered.
