Amtrak's Texas Eagle scheduled to resume daily service in May
TEXARKANA — The Texas Eagle line that runs from Chicago to San Antonio, with a stop in Texarkana, will soon resume a seven-day-a-week schedule, according to Marc Magliari, Amtrak public relations spokesman. The new schedule begins May 24. "The route was reduced to three days a week in October of last year," he said. "But as we emerge from COVID and with increased demand coming as well as increased funding, this has warranted the Texas Eagle return to its seven-day-a-week schedule."
