Travis Lynn Stuckey went to be with the Lord Monday, September 30, 2019 while in St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana. Travis was born November 5, 1945 in Bloomburg, Texas to James (Duck) and Odessa Stuckey. He was a Christian and a member of Crossway Church. He was a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 100 for 50 years. He retired as a Supervisor over Skilled Trades with Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan after 23 years. Travis was well-respected and knowledgeable of his job and was the go-to man when anything broke down in the plant. He attended Highland Park Community College in Michigan in July 1993 and received an Associate Degree in Applied Arts in Industrial Technology with honors. He later attended Baker College in Michigan and in June 1998 Travis graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Industrial Management degree. Travis was a Christian and he was saved. He now resides in Heaven with Jesus and his beloved wife Jane and he has a brand new body. Praise Jesus! He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Parker Stuckey, father and mother, Duck and Odessa Stuckey, his sister, Marsha Flippo, grandparents, Jesse and Florence Burris and Henry and Willie Stuckey of Bloomburg. He is survived by his sister, Vickie Richardson and husband Gary of Atlanta, Texas; aunts, Helen Barnes of Doddridge, Arkansas, Delta Mae Stuckey of Bloomburg, Texas; special cousin, George David Green; step-son, Ricky Parker of Colorado; a very dear friend, Patty Howell of Bradley, Arkansas; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Lake Country Baptist Church on Hwy 59 North, with Mike Lee and Pastor Gary Terry officiating.
