Bobby Gene Wallace, 74, of Texarkana, TX, died Sunday, October 6, 2019, at his home. He was born December 19, 1944, in Shreveport, LA, to Earl and Alice Marie Smith Wallace. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion, and was a brick mason. He is fondly remembered by his family for his love of hunting, fishing, and spending time in the casinos in Idabel, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cindy Kight; and a brother, Wayne Wallace. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Twilla Wallace and special friend, Monty Foster of DeKalb, TX, Tammy and Dwayne Autrey of Springfield, MO, Johnny and Stacy Kirkpatrick of Conroe, TX, Bobby Jr. and Kathy Wallace of Kentucky, and Nikki Parker of Clarksville, AR; two sisters, Ann Little and husband, Gene, of Shreveport, LA, and Kathy Harvey of Texarkana, TX; and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel, officiated by Rev. Jason Calhoun. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com.
