Raymond Bartholomew

Raymond Lon Bartholomew, age 76, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Monday, March 30, 2020 in a local hospice facility. Mr. Bartholomew was born April 7, 1943 in Richmond, Illinois and a Catholic. He was a retired priest and electrician. He was also the Miller County Emergency Ham Radio Coordinator with the Office of Emergency Management. In his spare time, he enjoyed colleting model trains and taking to friends and family on his ham radio. In his earlier years he studied civil engineering at Texarkana Community College. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd, Sr. and Virginia Bartholomew, one brother, Floyd Bartholomew, Jr. and one sister, Carolyn Sue Smith. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Jill and Randy Hosey of Fort Worth, Texas; Lorie and Gordon Galusha of Waxahachie, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law; Joseph and Jennifer Bartholomew of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard and Sue Bartholomew of Justin, Texas, Chares "Mickey" Bartholomew of Texarkana, Arkansas, four grandchildren and a host friends and other relatives.
