Rosemary Williams, 67, passed away on June 1st, 2020, near Morgan's Point Resort City, her current home. Rosemary was born in Corpus Christi but moved to the Ark-La-Tex in the mid-70's to make her home and raise her children. It is with sorrow that the family shares news of her passing with people that knew her locally. Rosemary was preceded in death by much of her family, most notably her parents Howard C. Sr & Dorothy Williams, and all three of her siblings: H. C. "Check" Williams Jr. (KIA-1968), Edna Louise Miller (d. Temple, 1992), and Richard "Bubba" Williams (d. Ashdown, 2007). Rosemary was laid to rest at Bellwood Memorial Park, in a plot not far from her sister. Tributes can be posted to Facebook, and memorials made to the Belton Senior Center. Rosemary lived in New Boston, Hooks, Texarkana, Wake Village, Foreman, and Ashdown. She often worked as a waitress but did graduate Texarkana College in 1987 as an LVN, was part owner of the Minnow Emporium and active with the Serenity Club. Rosemary's life changed dramatically over the years, although not all positive, and it was for those reasons that she did leave the area. However, the family celebrates that Rosemary's life ended well in MPR. She renewed a long-estranged friendship with Bill W., whom she met in Texarkana and became an active member of the Belton Senior Center and the MPR Cub Scouts. Survivors include her niece Zoeann Pierce and her three daughters and their families. Melissa (née Williams) & Kelton DoRemus of Broken Arrow; Lauri ann (née Peek) & Trevor Abell of Belton; Kari (née Peek) & Adam Crabtree of New Boston. Rosemary was blessed to be Grammy to her four grandchildren Lucas, Evan & Amelia Abell and Blaze Crabtree, all of whom she adored.
