April 13,1940 - July 31,2020 On Friday, July 31, 2020, surrounded by those who love him most, the Lord called W.D. Lance to his heavenly home. W.D. was born April 13,1940 to Rev. T.D. and Elouise Lance. In 1966 he married the love of his life, Veneda. With faith in God as their foundation, they built a loving home with three children. He lived his life of 80 years, serving the Lord and taking care of his family. Throughout his life he demonstrated a strong work ethic for his children. He retired from International Paper but he never stopped working. He loved spending time with his "Daddy's Girl" or you could find him checking cows and working in the hayfield with his boys.
