ELMER JOHNSON

Elmer Joe Johnson, 68, was born July 25, 1952 in Linden, Texas. He passed July 30, 2020 @ Focus Care Linden, Texas. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church where he was an usher, trustee, and a member of the men's banner winner Sunday School Class. He was DJ "Little Elmer" of KPYN in Atlanta, Texas and DJed with the legendary "Big Daddy" of Texarkana, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories, (two sisters), Charley (Earnest) Turner of Texarkana and Lena Glaspie of Dallas, Texas. (Brother) King David (Teri) Green of Dallas, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of many friends. Graveside service: Saturday August 8, 2020 @ 2pm Salem Cemetery, 281 County Road 1754, Linden, Texas 75563, Rev. Roy Bailey Eulogist. Visitation: Friday August 7, 2020 12-5pm, Linden Funeral Home, Linden, Texas. ATTENDEES MUST WEAR A SELF-PROVIDED FACE MASK AND PASS A TEMPERATURE SCREENING TO ENTER THE THE FUNERAL HOME DURING VISITATION.
