MARY DEERING

Mary Katherine Dillard Deering, 90, was reunited with her husband Harold Ray Deering on August 6, 2020. She was born on July 3, 1930 to the late Edgar Dillard and Carrie Glover Dillard. She also was preceded in death by her brother Jess L. Dillard. Mary Katerine, known as "Kat" to her friends and "Nannie Kat" to her family was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of Ashdown Church of Christ and a resident of Little River Nursing and Rehab. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Claude Jeans, Nancy and Danny Brown, Becky and Alan Aylett all of Ashdown; six grandchildren Richard Jeans and wife Kim Jeans, Amy Smith and husband Mark Smith, Tim Brown and wife Susie Brown, Molly Corbell and husband Michael Corbell, Wes Aylett and wife Ashley Aylett, and Randee Kennemore and husband Wade Kennemore; eleven great - grandchildren: Jackson Jeans and wife Sydney Jeans, Garrett Jeans, Paige Smith, Trey Smith, Brennan Brown, Bradee Mckean, Brody Corbell, Adalie Aylett, Cash Aylett, Lawson Kennemore and Sawyer Kennemore. Nannie Kat blessed her family with a home filled with warmth, security, and love. There was always something good cooking in her kitchen. An informal come and go viewing will be at Madden Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Graveside services will be on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 9 a.m. at Jones Cemetery in Amity, Arkansas. Face coverings are required at Madden Funeral Home and also at Jones Cemetery.
