LEROY JILES

Leroy Jiles, 73, of Atlanta, TX died Saturday, January 18, 2020, in a local hospital. Mr. Jiles was born June 28, 1946, in Atlanta, TX. He was retired from Texas DOT after 25 years of service and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his children: Jeralyn Jiles, Leroy Jiles 111 and Chad Jiles of Atlanta, TX and Paula Young of Dallas, TX; special friend: Alice Sampson; sister: Eloise Jiles-Neighbors of Atlanta, TX; brothers: Samuel L. Jiles (Anna) and John J. Jiles (Betty); sister-in-law: Doris Jiles ; his first wife: Beverly Faye Hill ; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Honey Grove Baptist Church, Atlanta, with the Rev. Donnell Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Atlanta, under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
