OLIVER MILLER

Oliver T. Miller, 83, of Ashdown, AR passed away January 25, 2019 in a local nursing home. He was born September 19, 1936 in Pomerene, AZ to the late Paul and Rita Scott Miller. He served in the United States Air Force from 1957 1960 and he worked at Red River Army Depot until he retired in 1987. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael Miller,three brothers, David Miller, Stanley Miller and Ronald Miller and three sisters, Pearl, Laura, and Winifred. Mr. Miller was a member of the Texarkana Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survivors include his wife of almost 57 years, Barbara Jean Miller, three sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn and Heidi Miller, Shane and Mary Miller and Jon and Carrie Miller, one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Carl Ricks, three brothers, Vernon, Melvin and Joseph, four sisters, Ethel, Ann, Irene and Mary Lynn, fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown with another visitation Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints prior to the services. Services will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 3701 Moores Lane in Texarkana, TX. Interment to follow at Campground Cemetery in Winthrop, AR.
