Mario Lamar Haynes was born in Texarkana, Texas, to Gloria Ann Grigsby Haynes and the late Linwood Haynes, Jr. on June 21, 1983. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 26, 2020. Mario was a God fearing man who knew the bible and lived strongly by it. He would often give away his suits to others who needed them for special occasions and replace them when he needed them for himself. He said "God's work is in the streets where people need help". Mario was a funny but serious person who loved his family dearly, especially his beautiful daughter, Shakayla. Mario was a veteran of the United States Army and was currently employed for (CTS) Clark Transportation Services, at the time of his passing. Mario was preceded in death by his father, Linwood Haynes, Jr; paternal grandfather, Lenwood Haynes, Sr; maternal grandparents, Dorothy Lee James and Avan Blanks; two aunts: Georgia Ann Roots, Linda Ann Holden and one uncle, David Shabazz. Mario Haynes will be remembered and missed by his loving mother, Gloria Ann Grisby Haynes (Edwin) of Texarkana, Arkansas; his daughter Shakayla Marie Haynes and his special friend, Susan Pacheco both of Greeley, Colorado; two brothers, Antonio LaKeith Haynes (Sharon) of Texarkana, Arkansas and Cedric Arnez Haynes (Tan) of Texarkana, Texas; paternal grandmother, Josephine Haynes of Bradley, Arkansas; three uncles, Tometrice Green, Shren Green (Ann) both of Texarkana, Texas and L.D Haynes of Bradley, Arkansas; two aunts, Alice Herring of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Linda Haynes of Houston, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life service for Mario at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, in Texarkana, Texas.
