Rachel Marie MITCHELL

Rachel Marie Mitchell, age 88 of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Mitchell was born August 24, 1931 in New Boston, Texas. She was a retired Food Service Worker with New Boston ISD, member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Mitchell and a daughter, Glenda Williams. Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Buck and Gail Mitchell of New Boston, Texas, four daughters and sons in law, Rea and Joe Lee of Fouke, Arkansas, Trish and Brent Black, Zelda and Gary Grider, Suzy and Joe Curl all of New Boston, Texas, 2 brothers, Argil Tutt of Emory, Texas, Tommy Tutt of New Boston, Texas 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Due to the current health situation, services will be limited to a small private family gathering. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Mitchell-Tutt Cemetery, New Boston, Texas with Bro. Jimmy Woodard officiating under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston. There is no set visitation. Per her request, pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
