Bettye Joe Mills Smith 89 of Linden, Texas. She was born October 19, 1939 to Rev. Jimmie Mills and Minnie Petty Mills in DeKalb, Texas. She transitioned to glory on May 22, 2020 at her residence. Housekeeper and a dutiful member of Macedonia Baptist Church Linden, Texas. She leaves to cherish her memory, (two daughters) Carolyn (Jimmie) Craver and Kathy Smith of Linden, Texas. (one daughter-in-law) JoAnn Allen of La Mesa, Calif.. 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, loving neighbors and friends.
