ROBERT HARRIS SR.

April 3, 1944, Robert Harris, Sr. was born to the late Johnnie and Thelma Harris of Bradley, Arkansas. Robert was one of eighteen siblings. Growing up Robert attended school in Bradley School District. He attended church with his family, and was baptized at an early age. Robert later rededicated his life to Christ under Pastor John J. Harris and joined St. Mary Baptist Church. Robert married Velma Couch Davis and to this union three sons were born. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Harris Jr; daughter, Rachael Harris; parents, Johnnie and Thelma Harris; siblings: Shirley Blackmon, Willie Calvin Harris, Roger Harris. John Harris Jr.,J.R Harris and Jessie B. Cooper. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: John Jeffry Harris (Tabitha), Christpher Harris (Aggie), Robert Harris (Rickie); one daughter, Racheal Lane Kennedy (Steven); siblings: Freddy Harris (Sharon), Willie Harris , Jimmy Harris (Angela) and Henry Harris; sisters: Linda Harris,Marie Harris, Zenoby Harris (Linzy), Rosie Grigsby (Wilbert), Mary Jack (Roy) and Elizabeth Jack all living in the Bradley and Lewisville area. Robert also leaves a host of grandchildren. nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be a walk-through visitation on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at New Life Assembly of God Church in Lewisville, Arkansas, from 10:00 am. - 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am. His earthly body will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Bradley, Arkansas. Brandon's Mortuary is entrusted with professional services.
