Mickey loved his country and proudly served his country. He was an Army Veteran. He was employed by Red River Army Depot, holding various positions, working on combat and tactical vehicles. He volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan, and made two deployments after nine-eleven (9-1-1). The first being a year and the second deployment was for six months.
