JOEL COWLEY

Joel Edward Cowley, 88, of Clute, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020. He was born on August 10, 1932 in New Boston, Texas to his parents, Jesse and Minnie Ola Cowley. Joel was a long time resident of Clute, Texas and a member and deacon of Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Karen (Doug) Tucker, Scott (Holly) Cowley, Terri (Dwayne) Rhodes, brother, Don Cowley, eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Joel was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Cowley, daughter, Toni Ann Reinhart, parents, Jesse and Minnie Ola Cowley, brother, Jerry Cowley and sister, Ivonne Wright. Visitation will be at Stroud Funeral Home, Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Graveside service and burial will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Red Bayou Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
