Jean Marie Gibbert Cronce was born July 3, 1939 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania to John and Phyllis Wamsher Gibbert. She graduated from Pennridge High class of "57" and went on to the University of Pennsylvania where she met Theodore Nelson Cronce, a dairy farmer from Ashbury, New Jersey who became her husband for 48 years. They had 3 children, sons, Theodore married to Monique, Christopher, daughter, Anne Marie married to Brian. There are now 7 grandchildren, Bryan Harper, AmandaJo McBride, Donald Luster, III, Charles Benjamin Luster, Ashley Williams, Naomi Skully, Craig Cronce, and there are 11 great grandchildren, Austin Rio, Taylor Rucci, Chaytan Goracy, Colton Crawford, Julian Saquicela, Sadie Williams, Nova Williams, Abigail Harper, Kinlee Luster, Colin Harper and Jax McBride. During the "farm years" Jean was a foster mother, caring for 66 foster pre adoption babies. Later she was employed as an RN at Carrier Clinic, a premier psychiatric hospital in Princeton, New Jersey. After Theodore's death, she joined family members in Texas, immediately identifying with Franklin Church of Christ, joining a senior bowling league, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, supporting the Texarkana Symphony, TexRep, Local animal league and volunteering at the Alzheimer's Alliance Respite Center. Preceding her in death were husband, Theodore and son Christopher. Memorial service will be 1p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Bro.
