Lou Ella WHITE

On Thursday, May 6, 2021, Lou Ella Compton White passed away at the age of 97. She was a resident at CalOaks Senior Living of Riverside, CA. She was born the daughter of William J. Compton and Jessie Lanora McKnight on June 16, 1923. She was the second oldest child out of eight and the last to meet God in Heaven. She was a joyous and wonderfully caring woman and a loving wife to William Horace White with whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by their infant son, William Marion White and their daughter Jackie Sue Ortiz. She is survived by her son, William Lee White, 5 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, amongst numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 10 am to 11:30 am at Hanner Funeral Service. Graveside services will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Salem Cemetery, Bloomburg, Cass County, Texas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
