CLARENE FAGAN

Clarene Strong Fagan, a devoted mother, sister and daughter, was born to the late Kapes Artee (R.T.) Strong and Drucilla Strong on April 14, 1954 in Texarkana, TX. Clarene attended Macedonia High School and Texas High School, ultimately graduating from Texas High School in 1973. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Texarkana, TX where she was a dedicated member of the Usher Board. Clarene was a dedicated Home Health Aide and caretaker for the elderly and disabled in the Texarkana area for several decades with Jordan Health Services. Clarene departed from her earthly labors on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by: her husband, John W. Fagan, Jr.; five brothers, Melvin, Isaiah, Kapes, Jr., James and Willie Strong, Sr.; and two sisters, Susie Strong Freeman and Mary Lou Strong. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Kevin R. Fagan of Texarkana, TX and Jeremy K. Fagan of New Orleans, LA; six step-children, Joyce Kinaman (Larry), Greg Fagan and Michael Fagan of Nashville, TN, Jerry Fagan of Arlington, TX, and Ladeana Hall and Anthony Moss of Texarkana, TX; her brother, Jimmie L. Strong, Sr. of Texarkana, TX; her granddaughter, Chelsea N. Fagan of Little Rock, AR; her step-grandchildren, Marquinton Fagan, Shay Jones, Tyesha Jones, Morgan Jackson, Maliek Fagan, Greg Fagan, Jr., Beyonce Fagan, Davion Hall, Kavion Hall, Tijani Fagan, Mahogany Fagan, Courtland Fagan, Semaj Johnson, Janiya Weekly and Collen White; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her dear friends within the Texarkana Davita Dialysis community and so many other friends and loved ones. Viewing will be Friday from 5 7 PM at Haynes Mortuary. Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
