Catherine Strong Robison was born to the proud parents of Willie Berry and Perlene Strong in Hope, Arkansas. At an early age, Catherine gave her life to Christ at Shady Grove Missionary, Baptist Church in Old Boston Texas. She was active in the church by serving on the Usher Board, singing in the Choir, and teaching Sunday School. As she grew spiritually and in age, she graduated from New Boston High School and worked at Lone Star Ammunition Plant. During this time, she met and married her husband, James Robison of 53 years. To this union, two children were born, Tina and James in Houston, Texas where she began her 27+ year career at ExxonMobil. Sister Robison joined the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church family, and served as a Deaconess, a Missionary Sister, a devoted Sunday School member, and philanthropist. Her hobbies include traveling the world, supporting her 8 grandchildren, and serving as a faithful member of the church.
