Christopher Carl Wooten, age 38, of Queen City, Texas went to be with the Lord on September 4th, 2021 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was born on September 11, 1982 in Atlanta, Texas to Sidney Carl and Brenda Wooten. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Queen City, Texas. Chris enjoyed fishing with his fiancé Michelle, and her son, Zack, playing golf, and catching up with family and friends. He called home several times a week to talk with his parents. Chris spent his entire life giving to anyone he saw had a need; even if it meant he had to go without for a while. He was one of the most thoughtful people on this earth and a joy to be around. Even in his death, he thought of saving others and was able to donate to "Miracles In Sight" and "Sharing Hope" to change three people's lives forever. Chris always had a story to keep you smiling and laughing. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Myra Wooten and Ronald Allison. Chris is survived by his parents Sidney Carl and Brenda Wooten of Queen City, Texas; fiancé, Michelle Woida and her son Zack of North Charleston, South Carolina; sister, Mandi Hancock and husband Josh of Queen City, Texas; grandmother, Yvonne Allison of Queen City, Texas; niece, Allison-Taliyah Hancock; nephew, Israel Hancock; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved very much. A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Christian Fellowship Church. Guest registry is available at www.hannerfuneralservice.com.
