BETTYE MEGASON

Bettye Irene Megason, age 92, of Texarkana, Arkansas died Friday, September 17, 2021 in a local retirement center. Mrs. Megason was born October 20, 1928 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was formerly employed with the Candle Light Gift Shop, member of the Beech Street First Baptist Church, member and past president of the Mimosa Garden Club and was an accredited judge of flower shows. She was preceded in death by her husband James Megason and by one granddaughter, Whitney Gordon. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Gordon of Texarkana, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Lindsey Clark and husband Cody; two great grandchildren, Cameron Gordon and Lily Clark and numerous other relatives. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Richard Posey officiating. Burial is under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
