JAMES PAYNE

LLANO, Texas—James Edward “Jim” Payne, 71, of Llano died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. <br />Mr. Payne was born April 10, 1938, in Kilgore, Texas. He was a master craftsman, former employee of Subway Billiards and a Marine Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori. <br />Survivors include one son, Bill Payne of Edmondton, Canada; one stepson, Ken Payne of Texarkana; two daughters, Carmen Payne of Greece and Cheryl Kay Daley of Simms, Texas; his mother, Lucille Payne of Pearland, Texas; two brothers, Larry Payne of Castell, Texas, and Tom Payne of Pearland; one sister, Susan Ibanez of Tulsa, Okla.; one special friend, Patricia Ratcliff; and a number of other relatives. <br />No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
