LUCILLE LESTER

Ruby Lucille Lester, 82, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Lester was born July 5, 1927, in DeKalb, Texas. She was retired from Day & Zimmermann Inc. and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel L. Lester. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Diane Lester of Lowell, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Phillis and Gary Grady of Talty, Texas; five grandchildren, David Lester, Brian Lester, Laura Lester, Jennifer Moss and Stephanie Snowden; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Dr. Frank Brooks officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Alliance, P.O.
