JOHNNIE JONES

Johnnie Morris Jones, 77, of DeKalb, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Jones was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Hooks, Texas. He was a former employee of Red River Army Depot and a member and deacon of St. Paul Baptist Church, DeKalb. <br />Survivors include his wife, Mary Jones of DeKalb; three sons, Johnny Jones of Rowlett, Texas, Ronnie Jones of Mesquite, Texas, and Jeffery Jones of DeKalb; three daughters, Brenda Person of Lancaster, Texas, Bobbie McGee of DeKalb and Ebony Jones of Langston, Okla.; three brothers, Daniel Jones of DeKalb, Floyd Jones of Dallas and James Jones of Crandele, Texas; one sister, Rosa Garmon of DeKalb; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at DeKalb High School Auditorium with Dr. S.T. Hillard officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com.
