THANKS WARNER

Thanks J. Warner, 94, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Warner was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Lewisville, Ark. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Warner Sr.; one son, Fletcher Warner Jr.; and one daughter, Marvel Warner. <br />Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, James R. and Louvenia Warner of Katy, Texas, and Robert G. and Isbel Warner and Benjamin E. Warner of Denver; two daughters and one son-in-law, Dorothy and Leroy Oliver-Jiles of Atlanta, Texas, and Ida Warner-Dafney of Duncanville, Texas; one goddaughter, Vern Jackson-Gunn of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister-in-law, Emma Jean Jackson of Lewisville; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Gurley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Old Town Cemetery, Lewisville, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
