NELL WHEELINGTON

Nell D. Wheelington, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Wheel-ington was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Cass County, Texas. She was a former member of University Baptist Church and a member of Thomas Street Baptist Church, Atlanta, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wheelington. <br />Survivors include one sister, Treva Goodman of Elgin, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Bonnie Godwin of Queen City, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Patti Wheelington of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at East Memorial Gardens with Dee Cruson officiating.
