MABLE BRAGGS

HOPE, Ark.—Mable Braggs, 87, of Hope died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. <br />Mrs. Braggs was born May 11, 1922, in Azar, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlee Braggs. <br />Survivors include four daughters, Martha Porter of Chicago and Winnfer Scott, Yvonne Williams and Ruth Primus of Hope; six sisters, Thelma Hopson of Gary, Ind., Gwen Breakfield of Omaha, Neb., and Maxine Ross, Juanita Mitchell, Hazel Simpson and Ruth Stallworth of Hope; two brothers, Robert Booker of Hope and Ted Booker of Ardmore, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Garrett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Hope, with the Rev. Charles Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Scott’s Memorial Gardens, Perrytown, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
