RAY DICKENS

Ray Dickens, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Texarkana. <br />Mr. Dickens was born April 10, 1923, in Maud, Texas. He was retired from Midwest Farms Dairy, Tony’s Bottle Shop and Ark-Tex Council of Governments and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Dickens. <br />Survivors include one son, Larry Dickens of Texarkana; one daughter, Marsha Lou Dickens Reddy of Sugar Land, Texas; one granddaughter, Diana Reddy of Philadelphia; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Priest officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. <br />Rosary will be 6 p.m. today at the funeral home with visitation to follow. <br />Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
