CECIL NORSWORTHY

Cecil Wesley “C.W.” Norsworthy, 79, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in a Magnolia, Ark., hospital. <br />Mr. Norsworthy was born July 2, 1930 in DeWitt, Ark. He was retired from Norsworthy Construction Co., former president of the Texarkana Home Builders Association, a member of Masonic Lodge 341 and Trinity Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Wesla Murrah of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clay Norsworthy of Maud, Texas, and Keith and Twyla Norsworthy of Magnolia; five grandchildren, Steve and Erin Murrah and William Murrah of Texarkana, Rachel Norsworthy of Selma, Ala., and Jon Norsworthy of Magnolia; and the mother of his children, Frances Norsworthy. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Magnolia Hospital Foundation, Magnolia, or Disabled Veterans of America. <br />Online registration is at www.eastfuneral home.com or www.mem.com. <br /> <br />
